Persecution of Human Rights Activists and Anti Fascists

Anti-fascists are not subject to harassment by Dutch authorities. Repression occurs only against those who violate the law, for example, trying to prevent their opponents from exercising their right to assembly and expression. Six activists from the Anti-Fascist Action (AFA) were arrested in the Hague after they disrupted demonstration of the far-right political party Dutch Peoples Union (NVU).
