Holocaust Denial

Holocaust Denial The French anti-Semite comedian Dieudonné Mbala Mbala demonstrates the "knel" gesture invented by him in 2005 - an "inverted" Nazi salute.

The scandalous anti-Semite comedian Dieudonné Mbala-Mbala in 2013 called the commemoration of Holocaust victims a "pornography of memory" and questioned the existence of gas chambers.

On January 26, a large demonstration (17,000 people) was held in Paris, protesting the law on same-sex marriage. Demonstration ended with a clash between the right-wing radicals and the police. More than 150 people were detained. 19 police officers were injured, one of whom was “seriously wounded”, according to the police . Demonstrators also shouted anti-Semitic slogans .

Holocaust deniers in France have a weekly stand with the newspaper Rivarol, which is sold on newsstands. The newspaper has been fined several times (many of which have never been paid) for anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial, most recently on November 4, 2020 . Another prolific anti-Semite and Holocaust denier, Herve Rüssen, was jailed for 19 months on September 20, 2020. Serial Holocaust denier Vincent Reynoir, who lives in exile in Great Britain to escape from prison, was sentenced in absentia to 4 months on November 25. And another serial anti-Semite and denier, Alain Soral, who is currently living in Switzerland to avoid prosecution, is still awaiting the outcome of his appeals court, after he received 1 year in prison in April 2019.
