Such cases were not recorded, if one is to disregard K. Mannerheim as a Nazi collaborator, who was, without doubt, a controversial figure in Finnish history. Being the supreme commander of the Finnish army during the Second World War, he collaborated with Hitler and fought on the side of Nazi Germany, but in 1944, becoming president of the country, made peace with the USSR and turned a weapon against the German compounds in Lapland.
